About The Position
Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is seeking Summer Baseball Coaches in Brooklyn, NY to help lead youth baseball and softball camps throughout Brooklyn and NYC, and the tri-state area. Our camps combine baseball instruction with teamwork and character development, creating a positive environment where young athletes can improve their skills while having fun.
Requirements
- A 5-7 week commitment is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with youth
- Knowledge of baseball and softball fundamentals
- Ability to work outdoors all summer
- Ability to inspire kids to develop confidence and sportsmanship
Responsibilities
- Help run baseball drills, games, and competitions
- Teach campers ages 4–13 proper baseball fundamentals
- Encourage teamwork and positive attitudes
- Support daily camp operations under the Site Director
- Create a safe, energetic, and welcoming environment
