About The Position

Koley Jessen’s Summer Associate Program is designed to provide second-year law students with hands-on experience and exposure to the firm’s culture. The program lasts 12 weeks and includes three rotations, giving participants the opportunity to explore several practice areas. Summer associates may attend court hearings, trials, depositions, transaction closings, and client meetings, and they complete legal research and writing projects. Each associate is paired with a mentor, participates in training sessions focused on practical examples and experiences, and receives feedback while rotating through the program. The firm also sponsors social activities outside the office to help associates build relationships within the firm. The program helps students explore areas of legal practice and helps the firm identify candidates for entry-level attorney roles. Applicants should attach a resume, cover letter, and transcripts.
