About The Position

Koley Jessen’s Summer Associate Program is designed to provide second-year law students with hands-on legal experience and exposure to the firm’s culture. The 12-week program includes three rotations through different practice areas, offering opportunities to attend court hearings, trials, depositions, transaction closings, and client meetings, as well as work on legal research and writing projects. Summer associates are paired with mentors who serve as resources throughout the program. They participate in training sessions focused on practical examples and experiences and receive feedback as they complete their rotations. The program helps students explore areas of legal practice and enables the firm to connect with potential entry-level attorneys. The firm also sponsors social activities outside the office to help summer associates develop relationships within the firm. Applicants should attach a resume, cover letter, and transcripts.
