The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2027 and ending in August 2027. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later. As part of Navy Federal's Military Affairs & Strategic Partnerships (MA&SP) department, GRPP collaborates closely with business units across the enterprise to assess policy implications, support strategic decision-making, and represent Navy Federal's interests before policymakers, regulators, trade associations, and other external stakeholders. The Public Policy Assistant Summer Associate will support the team's policy research, reporting, and operational activities. The associate will help maintain legislative, regulatory, stakeholder engagement, and project-tracking efforts that support the team's advocacy and strategic priorities. Responsibilities may include data analysis, reporting, process improvement, policy research, and the development of materials that help inform decision-making and increase visibility into GRPP activities across the enterprise. This role will provide exposure to public policy, government relations, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
