About The Position

Lazard is a global financial advisory and asset management firm with just over 3,000 professionals. The 2028 Summer Analyst will join the Capital Solutions team, part of Lazard’s Strategic Capital Solutions platform. The team supports corporate and sponsor clients with capital raising, including private-market debt syndication and public-market debt financing in connection with M&A, refinancings, liability management, and new capital raises. It also helps public and private companies evaluate capital alternatives, conduct private financing processes, and execute transactions aligned with strategic, balance-sheet, or liquidity objectives. Summer analysts may also work with teams across the firm and gain exposure to varied industries and transaction types, including M&A and divestitures, activism and takeover defense, special committee and restructuring assignments, financing and refinancing transactions, and capital-structure advice. Analysts work on small deal teams on important strategic assignments, with meaningful exposure to senior bankers and client representatives. The internship begins with a comprehensive, week-long training program in New York. Interns also receive formal mentorship, exposure to the Leadership Team, and opportunities to participate in social and networking events with bankers across the firm.
