About The Position

Government Relations is seeking a Summer Analyst to join their team in their Washington, DC office, with periodic travel to the NYC office throughout the summer. The Summer Analyst will support the Government Relations team with researching, monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory issues and their impact.

Demonstrated interest in public policy, politics, government, regulatory affairs, economics, communications, law, or a related field through coursework, internships, extracurricular activities, or prior work experience.
Current undergraduate student with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028

Responsibilities

Providing analysis, writing, and editing support on policy memos and external communications.
Supporting editing/development of content/messaging (written docs, grassroots).
Conducting research and analyzing important policy issues for further dissemination and analysis.
Supporting thought-leadership opportunities and presentation development.
Coordinating and preparing for visits with Federal, State and City government and elected officials.
Work in close collaboration with our Government Relations advisors.
Monitor and analyze federal, state, and local legislative, regulatory, political, and policy developments across a range of sectors.
Prepare policy memos, briefing materials, and other written analyses for internal stakeholders.
Supporting special projects.
