About The Position

Blackstone’s Real Estate Acquisitions Group provides an opportunity for Analysts to join a professional team whose work involves the acquisition and ongoing management of various real estate-related investments ranging from public companies, large portfolios of real estate assets and individual properties worldwide. Analysts at Blackstone assume integral roles on deal teams by participating in all aspects of private equity investing in the real estate sector, and are often staffed on multiple prospective investments concurrently. Many current leaders of the Blackstone Real Estate Acquisitions Group began their careers as Analysts. Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and economics

Nice To Haves

• Experience applying LLMs, AI agents, retrieval workflows, automation tools or enterprise AI applications preferred
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, APIs, databases, or similar technical tools preferred
• Interest in applying data platforms, automation, machine learning, and AI-enabled workflows to improve sourcing, diligence, underwriting, and asset-level decision making
• Willingness to contribute to new ideas and technical approaches that expand how the team uses proprietary data, automation, and AI to source, analyze, and execute investments

Responsibilities

• Enhance investing skills through work on a wide range of transactions including asset, portfolio, and company leveraged buyouts.
• Play an integral role in the investment process and assist in deal sourcing, LBO modeling, conducting due diligence, and presenting to Blackstone executives and partners at investment committees for final deal approval.
• Produce sophisticated analyses to quantitatively support and inform investment decisions, leveraging Blackstone’s vast proprietary data and employing cutting-edge AI solutions to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Real estate and public company valuation analysis
• Financial modeling and quantitative analysis using Excel, Python, proprietary real estate datasets, large language models, and other AI solutions
• Market research and data analysis, including use of machine learning and large language models to source, clean, structure, and synthesize data and documents from proprietary internal data as well as third party sources
• Proactively identifying opportunities to automate repetitive workflows, develop analytical applications, and apply AI-enabled workflows to streamline investment processes
• Partnering with Blackstone technology and other engineering teams to integrate emerging AI capabilities, internal data platforms, and quantitative techniques into investment-related workflows
• Development of Investment Committee materials and similar presentations to frame and support investment decisions
• Attending on-site property tours to refine key assumptions
• Leading due diligence and other deal execution workstreams
• Assisting with legal negotiations and related due diligence
