About The Position

Roman Group and Rosano Partners, a commercial real estate investment and brokerage firm, is seeking candidates for its 2024 Summer Internship class in the Los Angeles office. The internship provides hands-on experience and is intended to offer a path to full-time employment for candidates interested in a career in real estate investments.

Summer Analyst Interns support and collaborate with the Acquisitions, Asset Management, Property Management, and Operations departments, gaining insight into commercial real estate investing and brokerage. The role is on-site in Los Angeles and requires the ability to commute to the office.

Requirements

• Be a recent graduate or an undergraduate student in junior or senior year at the time of application.
• Be local to Los Angeles, able to commute, and able to work in the office.
• Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Be self-motivated, have a can-do attitude, and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, phone etiquette, and learning aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and analyze acquisition opportunities in multifamily, development, retail, and hospitality.
• Assist with underwriting acquisition opportunities using a financial model.
• Analyze sales comparables, rents, operating costs, and real estate taxes to determine project feasibility.
• Prepare and audit financial reports for review by senior management, prospects, and clients.
• Create offering memorandums and marketing packages for qualified investment opportunities.
• Assist with operations and ad hoc assignments.
• Support and collaborate with the Acquisitions, Asset Management, Property Management, and Operations departments.
