About The Position

Bedrock’s internship program provides emerging professionals with hands-on experience in an assigned team or business area, opportunities to collaborate with others, real-world skill development, career exploration, project contributions, and mentorship. The program introduces interns to how Bedrock, a full-cycle real estate and development company, works to bring vibrant and sustainable urban cores to life. Opportunities are available in Marketing, Accounting, or Information Technology.

The program runs from June 1, 2027, through August 5, 2027. Interns are paid $18.00 per hour and work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The internship is fully on-site at Bedrock’s offices and properties in downtown Detroit, Michigan.

The essay should explain why the applicant is applying, identify their preferred business area and why, and describe what they hope to learn or accomplish and how the internship fits their goals. Requirements

• Be entering junior year or higher in fall 2027.
• Be pursuing a degree related to the team or business area indicated in the personal essay.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Submit a resume through the posting and a personal essay of no more than 500 words by the stated deadline.
