Capital Farm Credit's summer internship program gives students hands-on experience in agricultural finance while working alongside professionals serving farmers, ranchers, and rural communities across Texas. Interns learn about agricultural lending operations and gain industry experience, professional connections, and practical skills. The Information Technology Intern develops working knowledge of systems and technology used in agricultural lending and credit operations, participates in meaningful projects and daily business activities, and completes a summer project to present to executive leadership. The internship runs from May 26 through August 12, 2027. It is full-time and in person at the assigned Capital Farm Credit office. Interns must reside within a reasonable commuting distance and have reliable transportation. Attendance at three in-person program sessions at the headquarters in College Station, Texas, is required: orientation May 26–28, a mid-summer session tentatively scheduled for the week of July 5, and the closing session August 12. The organization may provide mileage reimbursement and overnight accommodations for required program events, when applicable. Interns should not plan more than three workdays of personal absence during the program. Compensation is $18 per hour. Eligible interns who relocate for the internship may receive a $1,500 relocation stipend. The application deadline is November 16, 2026.
