About The Position
Western Alliance Bank is hiring a Summer 2027 intern for its Credit Operations Underwriting team in Westlake Village, California. This paid, 10-week internship offers undergraduates the opportunity to work on challenging projects related to their field of study, receive mentoring, collaborate with experienced professionals and other interns, and apply their education in a professional banking environment. The program includes business projects, leadership development training, mentoring, and team-building activities. It runs from June through August, with flexible dates based on school schedules. High-performing interns who demonstrate the company’s values may be offered future employment opportunities. The internship is intended for students interested in pursuing careers in Commercial Banking.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student in a related field of study.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
- Interest in the Commercial Business Banking industry.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis; employment-based immigration sponsorship and assistance with OPT or CPT are not available.
