About The Position

The Suite Concierge provides friendly, professional service to United Center guests while operating an elevator or working in other assigned positions. The role helps ensure guests have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment while viewing events. Team members are expected to remain active throughout an entire event, typically five or more hours, and may be assigned to an elevator for the full event. The position averages no more than 20 hours per week and pays $17.27 per hour. Availability is required for evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as some daytime hours.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school education.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• Ability to follow direction.
• Consistently provide a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Be approachable, friendly, and articulate.
• Be self-motivated and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to adhere to scheduling methods and procedures.
• Be punctual, proactive, and accountable, and comply with attendance standards.
• Must be available for evening and weekend work and holidays. Weekday report times typically begin at 4:30 p.m.; weekend report times may vary.
• Must be willing and able to comply with grooming and uniform standards. Extreme hair color, extreme facial piercings, and facial or offensive tattoos are not allowed.
• Must be comfortable staying active for an entire event, typically five or more hours, and spending an extended period in a tight space.
• Ability to stand for three-quarters of a shift; use hands, stoop, kneel, or reach during a shift; and walk up and down several stairs during an event.
• May be required to work near moving mechanical parts, in high or precarious places, or outdoors in weather conditions.

• Greet guests as they enter the arena.
• Deliver outstanding customer service in a variety of circumstances.
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers.
• Operate elevators safely.
• Document incidents and notify supervisors about issues that may require further attention.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
