About The Position

The Fitness Center Concierge plays a vital role in delivering a safe, clean, and welcoming fitness environment for building occupants and members. The position is responsible for daily facility upkeep, equipment safety monitoring, supply management, and member service, helping ensure that the fitness center operates smoothly and reflects JLL’s commitment to exceptional workplace experiences. Through attention to hygiene, safety, and member satisfaction, the role supports JLL’s mission of creating healthy, high-performing environments for clients and tenants. The position is on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio, with a scheduled Monday–Friday shift from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout each shift.
Ability to regularly lift 50 or more pounds of gym equipment, weights, or laundry bags.
Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Comfort enforcing facility rules and respectfully addressing member behavior.
Reliability and adherence to the scheduled Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM shift.
Willingness to perform manual cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the day.
Ability to follow emergency protocols and accurately complete incident documentation.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in hospitality or customer service environments.
Basic familiarity with gym equipment or fitness center operations.
Experience with inventory tracking or supply ordering processes.
General understanding of cleaning protocols and chemical safety handling.
Comfort using basic facility management or Work Order reporting systems.

Responsibilities

Open the facility each shift by activating TVs and music systems, checking climate control, confirming emergency exits are clear, and verifying emergency contact information is posted.
Sanitize high-touch surfaces, mirrors, workout mats, and locker room areas, and monitor restrooms for cleanliness and supply levels.
Manage towel and paper-product inventory, refill dispensers, restock clean towels during peak hours, and coordinate laundry collection and sorting.
Visually inspect gym equipment and weights, test safety mechanisms such as emergency stop buttons, and ensure equipment is properly spaced and organized.
File Work Orders with management for facility damage, plumbing issues, or broken equipment, and promptly report lighting or ventilation problems.
Enforce gym dress code and safety policies professionally and redirect unsafe behavior as needed.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies or accidents and complete required documentation the same day.
