About The Position

The Suite Attendant is responsible for setting up suites before events, verifying and setting up event orders, taking and delivering food and beverage orders, serving guests, replenishing supplies, maintaining cleanliness, obtaining signatures for charges, clearing and cleaning areas, resetting suites for the next function, and checking out with a supervisor or manager. This role requires good customer service skills, adherence to policies, and availability for all major events at the arena.

Requirements

Must have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty
Must follow all SAVOR… Omaha policies and procedures
Must be present for all major events at the Arena
Minimum of one year experience in foodservice position required
Must be at least 19 years of age and able to pass a credit check
Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards
Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training
Knowledgeable in operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with staff, plan ahead and to prepare event plans simultaneously
Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment
Frequent walking for entire length of shift
Constant standing, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
Frequent lift, push or pull items and objects weighing up to 50 lbs

Previous supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

Pre-event suite set-up including chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting and overall ambiance in the suite.
Verify and set-up all event orders for Suites
Identify suite host and properly introduce yourself
Take game day food and beverage orders and deliver to suite
Set-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event
Replenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils for suite and catering as needed
Maintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite and catering areas throughout During Event
Obtain signatures from the suite host on charges in a timely manner
Clear all items from the suite and catering areas and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes
Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions
Check out with supervisor or manager
