About The Position
This position is responsible for mixing drinks to order and serving guests at Baxter Arena. The role requires knowledge of all bar drinks and wines, and adherence to SMG-SAVOR policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be personable, guest service-driven, and motivated to develop guest loyalty.
Requirements
- Strong verbal communication.
- Personable and guest service driven.
- Self-motivated with professional demeanor.
- Pass a short bartending test.
- Good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a credit check.
- Excellent guest service skills: ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards of proper grooming and appearance.
- Must have basic math skills; ability to count change and balance bank.
- Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training.
- Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and receive orders.
- Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous bartending experience.
