About The Position
Kokua Education is seeking Substitute Teachers for the 2026-27 school year in Saint Paul and Minneapolis. This part-time role allows you to set your own schedule, earn up to $195 per day, and make a significant impact on students' lives. Kokua, meaning 'to come together to fulfill a need,' focuses on placing positive role models in classrooms to foster a love for learning. You will be paid via W-2, receive weekly paychecks, and have opportunities for extra pay on selected shifts. Requirements
- At least 6 months of working with children in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, etc.).
- A Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Hold a MN Substitute Teaching License or Educators license.
- Feel confident managing a classroom of students.
- Willing to step in where needed.
- Willing to work at least 2 days/week.
- Pass state & federal background checks.
- Believe every child has a unique & powerful gift to share with the world.

Responsibilities
