About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring a part-time Substitute Guide for its school at Galleria. The role has varied hours Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Substitute Guides support mixed-age Montessori classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and children ages 3–6, helping create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore and learn at their own pace. The role includes preparing intentional learning spaces and supporting individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. Substitute Guides help children build confidence and support their development of independence and a love of learning.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required.

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs.
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
