About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Substitute Teacher to teach in a classical classroom for up to 14 hours per week at our center in St. Leo, Florida. No teaching certification or formal teaching experience is required, as all necessary training will be provided. The academy offers instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. This is an hourly position with provided childcare/nursery. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will be trained in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be actively living the Catholic faith, including having received all appropriate sacraments. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.

• Must be available to attend mandatory training on August 11, 12, or 13, 2026 (8am-5pm).
• Must complete a background check.
• Must complete RCA Safe Child training.
