About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Substitute Teacher to teach in a classical and Catholic classroom for up to 13 hours per week, as needed. This role is called upon when regular staff are out sick. No formal teaching certification or experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith, be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church, and possess strong communication skills, good organization, and timeliness. A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship is expected. All staff must complete a background check and training. Applicants must be available for a mandatory training day on August 6, 7, or 8, 2026 (TBD), from 8 am to 5 pm, with no childcare provided (nursing babies are welcome).

Requirements

• Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Must have a deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organization.
• Timeliness.
• A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
• Must complete a background check.
• Must complete training.
• Must be available to attend one mandatory training day on August 6, 7, or 8, 2026 (TBD) prior to working in the classroom (8am-5pm).
