About The Position

Kokua Education is seeking part-time substitute teachers in the Keller, TX and surrounding Fort Worth area for the 2026-27 school year. This role offers the flexibility to set your own schedule, with the potential to earn up to $167 per day, paid weekly via W-2. Substitute teachers at Kokua are viewed as positive role models who spark a love for learning and make a significant difference in students' lives. The position provides an opportunity to gain experience in K-12 schools, with potential pathways to full-time roles. Support is available daily from 6 am to 8 pm.

Requirements

At least 1 year working with kids in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, etc.).
Completed 48+ college credit hours.
Confident in managing a classroom of students.
Willing to step in where needed.
Pass state & federal background checks (costs reimbursed after 10 assignments).
Belief that every child has a unique & powerful gift to share with the world.
