About The Position

Teachers Now is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to support local schools in Galveston, Texas City, and Webster, Texas. No teaching certification is required, but candidates with at least 60 college credit hours are encouraged to apply. Requirements

• Minimum of High School diploma
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Able to successfully complete a background check and fingerprinting
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• At least 60 college credit hours

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans left by the classroom teacher
• Lead classroom activities and keep students engaged

• Take attendance and report any classroom concerns
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and hallway transitions
• Work collaboratively with school administrators and staff
