About The Position
Teachers Now is hiring dependable Substitute Teachers to support schools across the Midland and Odessa area. This role offers a flexible schedule and does not require a teaching certification. If you have at least 60 credit hours or an Associate's Degree, you may qualify. As a Substitute Teacher, you will help maintain a positive learning environment when regular teachers are absent by following lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and supporting student engagement. Teachers Now partners with schools to provide reliable educators who help maintain stable learning environments for students. Our substitutes play a key role in keeping classrooms productive and supporting student success across the Midland and Odessa community.

Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom instruction using lesson plans provided by the teacher
- Maintain a respectful and organized learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and encourage participation
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions
- Assign and review classwork and homework
- Record attendance and communicate concerns to school staff
- Support school staff in maintaining a safe and productive classroom
- For long-term assignments, substitutes may also develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
