About The Position
Under administrative direction, a Certificated Substitute in the San Dieguito Union High School District works on a flexible, on-call basis, providing temporary instructional support in middle and high school classrooms. This role involves stepping in for absent regular teachers, implementing lesson plans, and maintaining classroom order. The substitute should be adaptable, able to teach various subjects, and communicate effectively with students and staff.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential with or without an English Learners Authorization OR A valid California issued 30-Day Substitute Permit
- Fingerprint clearance through the San Diego County Office of Education Fingerprint Clearinghouse
- Must already be fingerprinted and cleared through the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) Fingerprint Clearinghouse prior to applying.
- Complete list of all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) where they have been previously employed, including full-time, part-time, or substitute roles, must be disclosed effective January 1, 2025.
