About The Position

Little Lukes is seeking a part-time Substitute Teacher Assistant for an inclusion preschool setting in Camillus, New York. The role supports young children’s learning and development through caring interactions and meaningful activities in a team environment. Substitute hours vary each week and are based on availability; the listing also describes flexible Monday–Friday schedules and 8 a.m.–2 p.m. options. The wider substitute schedule may range from opening as early as 7 a.m. to closing at 5:30 p.m.

Little Lukes serves children ages 3 to 5 in an integrated preschool environment that brings together typically developing children and children with special needs. Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Enjoy working with children.
• High energy level and caring personality.
• Teamwork mentality and caring attitude.

Nice To Haves

• NYS Teacher Assistant (TA) Certification; preferred but not required.
• Experience with children with special needs and preschool-aged children.
• Babysitting experience.
• Prior childcare, daycare, or preschool work experience.
