About The Position

Substitute Nurses at New Trier High School are responsible for promoting a healthy and well-being environment for students and staff. This role requires the ability to utilize technology for accessing health information and documenting health-related visits in PowerSchool. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, clear communication abilities, and the capacity to move frequently and respond to urgent health needs throughout the school. Substitute Nurses must adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the "New Trier Substitute Teacher Handbook."

Requirements

• Valid Illinois Registered Nurse License
• Valid American Heart Association CPR/AED Certification
• Must attend mandatory training and complete required online training prior to being placed in a classroom upon hiring.

Responsibilities
