About The Position

Under the supervision of the Director, the District School Nurse develops and maintains a broad program of health education and services designed to protect, maintain, and enhance the health of students. The school nurse strengthens and facilitates the educational process by identifying and remediating health-related barriers that may impede students’ ability to learn.

Requirements

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid California School Nurse Services credential.
• Submit a resume, a copy of a nurse credential or RN license, transcripts showing a BA degree, and two letters of recommendation.
• Submit the application through Helios; paper and email applications are not accepted, and applications or required materials should not be faxed.

Responsibilities
