About The Position
Responsible for providing classroom instruction and positive interaction with students and colleagues. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community members and school clientele.
Requirements
- First Aid & CPR Certification - American Heart Association
- Group Leader Qualified - Co Dept of Human Services
- High School or Equivalent
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team.
- Plan and implement instruction consistent with the preschool curriculum and mandated components.
- Cooperate with the special education team in order to help special education children meet Individual Educational Plan goals.
- Cooperate with team members to develop and implement Individual Learning Plans for at risk students.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Perform toileting duties and life skills instruction.
- Participate in ongoing formal and informal staff development.
- Maintain data collection regarding student progress/performance, including confidential reports and information.
- Use formal and informal methods to assess the abilities and needs of students.
