About The Position
The Substitute Instructor will provide qualified backup instructional coverage to prevent interruption of scheduled academic services. The Substitute Instructor will work as needed whenever an assigned instructor is absent or otherwise unavailable. Availability must support scheduled evening, online, and applicable in-person classes.
Requirements
- Must meet the same applicable qualification standards as the instructor being replaced.
- Must possess appropriate subject-matter expertise for the assigned course.
- Must be capable of providing online or in-person instruction as required.
- Must satisfy applicable NNSY security and access requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional coverage when the primary instructor is unavailable.
- Follow the established syllabus, course schedule, and learning outcomes.
- Maintain continuity of assignments, assessments, and student progress.
- Coordinate course status with Ladgov program management and academic personnel.
