About The Position

HOKALI is hiring an After School Enrichment Substitute Educator for Natomas USD, seeking instructors with KPOP or Speech and Debate teaching experience. The role involves supervising and engaging students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade during after-school enrichment programming, while creating safe, supportive, and engaging learning experiences.

The assignment runs from October 12, 2026, through December 18, 2026. The listed schedule is Monday 3–4 PM, Tuesday 3–4 PM, Wednesday 2–3 PM (with flexibility to change the time if needed), Thursday 3:30–4:30 PM, and Friday 4–5 PM. Pay is $50 per hour. Structured lesson plans are provided, with flexibility for educators to bring their own ideas.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be able and willing to complete three hours of online training.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Teaching experience in KPOP or Speech and Debate is sought.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, and keep spaces clean and safe.
