About The Position
Assist challenging students being transported to and from school as well as performing related work activities in a safe and timely manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License with a "P and S" endorsement
- Must attend in-service training classes and safety meetings
Responsibilities
- Maintain, read and understand route sheets including time changes
- Exercise student management through correct use of communication and discipline
- Report discipline problems through proper school district procedures
- Inspect each vehicle before and after each trip using correct procedures and completing proper district documents
