About The Position
This position is for a substitute bus driver. The primary responsibility is to transport students safely to and from school and school-related activities and events. The driver must comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to student transportation and promote a positive district image through interactions with students, staff, and the community. The position reports to the Transportation Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to meet school bus driver certification requirements: Michigan School Bus Driver Education course
- Commercial Driver License Examination for CDL B, with P and S plus Air Brakes
- Pass Michigan Department of Transportation physical examination requirements
- Clear Federal criminal background check
- Meet Federal DOT drug/alcohol testing requirements
