The Doe Fund is seeking a Case Manager/Substance Abuse Counselor for one of its permanent supportive housing programs for homeless men and women living with HIV/AIDS. This program offers long-term residential care and twenty-four-hour support services in a community environment designed to maximize residents' independence while ensuring their physical and emotional security and well-being. Half of the residents are referred by the New York City HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA), and the other half are apartments for affordable to low-income households. The Case Manager/Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for providing supportive case management services to the HASA-funded residents. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical and communication skills and an understanding of working with the HIV/AIDS population.
