About The Position

As a Subcontracts Administrator, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and talent for organization to help manage critical documents. We need you to bring your subcontract management knowledge to our Space and Military Intel team, where you’ll be a trusted advisor and a valuable collaborator who finds creative solutions to complex problems for an advanced technology company. On our team, you’ll use your subcontracts administration, procurement, and proposal experience to capture, implement, and manage a range of proposals and contracts. In this role, you’ll touch every element of government acquisition, from beginning stages to completion. You’ll review and analyze solicitations for potential risks, guide suggested proposal strategies, and advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies as it relates to Booz Allen's subcontractors and suppliers. As a trusted business partner, you’ll negotiate and administer subcontracts in support of various U.S. government customers across a breadth of prime contract types. You’ll also use your negotiation, price analysis, FAR, and finance skills to support the mission. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in contract administration, negotiations, and proposal preparation with the U.S. government and a combination of commercial, state, or local government or international clients
  • Experience creating file documentation in compliance with CPSR requirements
  • Experience supporting proposals in a demanding and fast-paced environment for Defense, National Security, and Civil federal acquisitions
  • Experience negotiating various contract types, including Firm Fixed-Price (FFP), Firm-Fixed-Price Level-of-Effort (FFP LOE), Cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) Term and Level of Effort (LOE), Time and Materials (T&M), and Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Contract types
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FARs), General Services Administration (GSA) schedules, Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs), and IDIQ vehicles
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience evaluating software license agreements to ensure conformance with federal regulations, including GSAM or GSAR
  • Experience providing instruction about contract requirements and procurement processes
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize based on demand of requirements or workload
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
