About The Position

You will be the Subcontract Manager Senior for the Advanced Programs Line of Business. Our team is responsible for subcontract management supporting the Advanced Programs organization and dynamic supply chain. As the Subcontract Manager Senior you will be responsible for subcontract management in the Advanced Programs organization, which includes management of the dynamic supply chain.

Requirements

• Experience placing and managing fast paced subcontracts
• Leading cross-functional program teams in supplier management process knowledge and experience with FAR / DFAR contracts
• Proficient computer skills including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and presentation skills
• Business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions
• Self-motivated, ownership of tasks and accountable
• Able to work both independently and in a team environment
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance
• Supplier identification experience
• Experience with firm fixed price and cost type contracts

Responsibilities

• Work with a cross‑functional program team that includes Engineering, Quality, and Finance
• Manage supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on various programs within the LOB
• Handle all aspects of the procurement process, including supplier performance indicators, invoices/billings, contract changes, schedule, budgets, funding, verification of delivery, approval of payments, and maintaining necessary records
• Review proposals, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up orders placed via SAP procurement system
• Determine pricing to be fair and reasonable based on technical evaluation, history, market data, or cost element evaluation
