Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e…Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management)
  • Previous experience with procurement processes and regulations under DoD (FAR, DFAR, TINA, and or ITAR)
  • Knowledge of SAP/P2P Purchasing System, PO Folders, procedures
  • Experience with management of Cost, Technical, Schedule, Risk and Opportunity experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance

  • Demonstrated subcontract experience to include development of RFP's, complex statements of Work, proposal evaluation criteria, and source selection criteria
  • Previous LM Space experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships

  • Attention to detail
  • Proven record of proactive engagement and communication with internal and external customers
  • Excellent organizational skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to interface with suppliers, internal customers, and external customers
  • Well versed in FAR/DFAR and LM Acquisition procedures
  • Ability to multi task in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the management of supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance for the Electronic Steerable Array (ESA) hardware portfolios as well as other hardware portfolios.
  • Accountable for managing subcontracts throughout their entire life cycle — starting from proposal phases, through execution, full delivery of the work product, and into closeout for multiple programs and Lockheed Martin line of businesses.
  • Develop and execute contractual relationships with our supplier base as well as internal Lockheed Martin Stakeholders.
  • Resolve complex supplier performance issues.
  • Control costs through negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, and program requirements.
  • Responsible for subcontract lifecycle activities on multiple programs, with specific support to the Space Supply Chain Enterprise Strategic Sourcing (ESS) organization.
