About The Position

At Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, the Supply Chain team is dedicated to delivering innovative, affordable, and agile solutions. This role involves managing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts for various programs. The position requires leading multifunctional subcontract management teams and holding procurement delegation authority. Responsibilities include developing subcontract specifications, analyzing proposals, negotiating terms, and administering resulting subcontracts and change activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
  • Experienced in procurement principles, contract management, supply chain management
  • Advanced to Expert level in Microsoft Office Suite; to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Aero Industry Experience

  • Experience with Competitions and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) Proposals
  • Experience managing international suppliers
  • Experience collaborating and communicating cross-functionally, building consensus and shaping/influencing opinion
  • Experience with Engineering Change Notices
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs.
  • Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams.
  • Hold procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
  • Lead the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.
  • Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.
