About The Position
The Transmission POD 727 Subassembly role builds, inspects, and pre-fits individual transmission modules before they are integrated into the main transmission case. Modules include pumps, forward/overdrive drums, direct/intermediate clutches, planetary gear sets, and valve body/mechatronic units. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime available. The work environment is climate controlled, and on-the-job training is provided.
Requirements
- Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift, which may be approximately 8–10 hours.
- Ability to use handheld tools such as a hammer, screwdrivers, pliers, and a torque wrench.
