About The Position

The Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) is seeking dedicated educators to join their team as Full-Time, Site-Based Sub Teachers at Castlemont High School for the 2026-27 school year. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Eligible for employment in the US
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Possess, or be willing to earn, a California teaching credential authorizing instruction in core curriculum
  • Completed online application
  • Resume and cover letter
  • Two current professional references, including from a supervisor
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or commitment to weekly testing (upon request)
