About The Position
Tennessee State Veterans’ Home (TSVH) in Clarksville, Tennessee, is seeking a contract Stylist to provide personalized hair care services to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing environment. The role supports residents’ comfort, confidence, dignity, and well-being through attentive styling services and respectful interactions. The Stylist will tailor services to each resident’s preferences and needs, coordinate scheduling with facility staff, and maintain sanitary tools and work areas. The position requires following applicable licensing requirements and the facility’s safety and infection-prevention procedures. Schedule, compensation, and service arrangements will be discussed during the selection process.
Requirements
- Current, active Tennessee license appropriate to the services provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, compassionate approach.
- Ability to work with older adults and residents with varying care needs.
