About The Position

This position is for a Stuffer Operator on the 2nd shift at Tyson Foods, located near Fort Worth, TX. The facility produces Pepperoni and other Pizza Toppings. The role involves supplying quality pepperoni to slice and meeting production demands while adhering to quality, safety, and sanitation standards. Candidates must be able to follow instructions and have a willingness to perform the physical requirements of the job. Requirements

  • 6 months work history with the same employer.
  • 6 months of machine operator experience.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Able and willing to perform routine repetitive tasks, bending, pulling and lifting up to 30 - 60 pounds constantly.
  • Able and willing to frequently stand continuously and walk up to ½ mile during the shift.
  • Sufficient near, far, color and depth perception vision to perform operations.
  • Able and willing to work in extremes of temperature.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jack.

Responsibilities

  • Supply quality pepperoni to slice.
  • Keep up with production demands for stick and super dice production.
  • Adhere to all quality, safety, and good housekeeping/sanitation needs.
  • Follow all instructions both verbal and written.
  • Set up and tear down of Risco Stuffer, Tipper-tie, Super Dice Stuffing table, and all other pipes, valve stations, heaters, and equipment necessary to produce product in the pepperoni grind room.
  • Operate and run all equipment essential to producing product in the pepperoni grind room.
  • Ensure that all sticks meet diameter and weight requirements.
  • Ensure that clips are secure.
  • Ensure no air is being stuffed into casing.
  • Perform all other checks and duties of production.
  • Observe Tyson/USDA safety and sanitation rules.
  • Utilize proper lifting techniques to avoid injury to themselves and others.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Operate pallet jack.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jack.
