About The Position

The construction safety coordinator will oversee safety for the general contractor managing all trades on a community college construction project. This is a full-time direct hire W-2 position with full benefits.

Requirements

• OSHA 30 in construction
• Commercial construction experience
• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
• Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
• Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations

Nice To Haves

• OSHA outreach training experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
• Provide safety training as needed
• Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocols
• Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
• Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required
