Waxing the City is seeking a Studio Lead (Licensed Esthetician) who is passionate about client care, team development, and results-driven performance. This role is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for delivering exceptional waxing services while mentoring team members, maintaining brand standards, and supporting daily studio operations. The ideal candidate is both a top-performing service provider and a natural leader.

Requirements

• Active Esthetician or Cosmetology License (required)
• 2+ years of waxing or skincare experience preferred
• Previous leadership, coaching, or training experience a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on client retention
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform professional, high-quality waxing services
• Deliver exceptional client experiences and build long-term relationships
• Train, coach, and support estheticians to ensure consistent service quality
• Lead by example in performance, professionalism, and customer service
• Promote and sell services and retail products
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, and daily studio operations
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and brand standards
• Support team in achieving service and retail goals
