About The Position

NewWorld Studios is hiring a Studio Director to maintain a clear, current view of its slate of original shows and help keep them moving forward together. The role tracks shows from development through production, release, and reporting, keeping schedules, milestones, and dependencies current and identifying risks early. When shows compete for people, budget, or time, the Studio Director lays out trade-offs and options for the Executive Producer, Studios, who makes the decision. The Studio Director runs the studio’s operating rhythm, including slate review preparation, status reporting, production calendars, and shared trackers. The role works closely with the Executive Producer, who owns budgets, Producers, and production decisions, and keeps the Head of Studio and Chief Creative Officer informed about each show’s creative and operational status. Day-to-day collaborators include each show’s Producer and Showrunner. The position is remote and US-based, with the option to work from the New York office. The company has a strong preference for candidates based in New York, Toronto, or Los Angeles. Occasional travel is expected in alignment with productions. Salary is $140,000–$170,000, set by experience, and the role includes full benefits with health coverage and paid time off.
