About The Position

The Student Worker will support café operations by preparing made-to-order smoothies, smoothie bowls, grain bowls, and salads; assisting guests; helping close and restock the café; preparing sauces and toppings; and maintaining cleanliness. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required. The role pays $13 per hour and is not benefits eligible.

Requirements

• Be a current Regent University student in good academic standing.
• Be available for at least three afternoon shifts per week, Monday through Friday, between 1:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
• Be able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Be reliable, punctual, and friendly with guests.
• Be committed to delivering Christ-centered service.

Nice To Haves

• ServSafe certification is preferred; training is available.

Responsibilities

• Make smoothies, smoothie bowls, grain bowls, and salads to order.
• Greet guests and answer questions about the menu.
• Help close the café by breaking down stations and restocking for the next day.
• Assist with batch preparation of sauces and toppings.
• Keep the café clean by washing dishes and wiping down stations.
