Student Worker - Social Media Program Assistant - Mission Waco
About The Position
In a student employee capacity, this role assists with working with external community service partners. The Media Content Creator – Videographer will help create content for Mission Waco's social media channels. This includes capturing photos at Mission Waco Programs & special events, creating highlight videos, program videos, interviews, and tutorials. The position requires 10-20 hours a week with flexible working hours. Knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe Premier is required, as is knowledge of social media posting, primarily Facebook and Instagram. This is off-campus employment, so reliable transportation is important.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to make videos with a DSLR or 4K camera.
- Proficiency in editing with Canva and/or Adobe Premier.
- Knowledge of social media posting (primarily Facebook and Instagram).
Nice To Haves
- Social Media knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve alongside the Director of Communications to take photos and create videos for social media channels to promote Mission Waco.
- Create content for a multitude of programs and several different facets of Mission Waco.
