Student Worker - Social Media Program Assistant - Mission Waco
About The Position
Mission Waco is seeking a Student Worker - Social Media Program Assistant with experience in photography and videography to create content for their social media channels. This role involves capturing photos and videos at various Mission Waco programs and special events, creating highlight videos, program videos, interviews, and tutorials. The position requires 10-20 flexible hours per week and knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe Premier, as well as social media posting, primarily on Facebook and Instagram. Federal Work-Study eligibility is a must, and reliable transportation is important as this is off-campus employment.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to make videos with a DSLR or 4K camera.
- Proficiency in editing with Canva and/or Adobe Premier.
- Knowledge of social media posting (primarily Facebook and Instagram).
Nice To Haves
- Social Media knowledge preferred.
- Experience in photography & videography.
Responsibilities
- Assist in working with external community service partners.
- Serve alongside the Director of Communications to take photos and create videos for social media channels to promote Mission Waco.
- Create content for a multitude of programs and several different facets of Mission Waco.
