Student Worker - Youth Program Assistant - Mission Waco
About The Position
Assist the Youth Program by helping to plan and implement daily activities. Build relationships with program participant youth. Enforce all rules and discipline. Help with administrative and cleaning tasks as needed. This is off-campus employment, so reliable transportation is important. Prepare daily program activities (gather equipment, setup rooms, etc.). Help supervise youth in daily activities. Help prepare and implement the daily activities at program. Supervise the youth and all volunteers. Assist with various cleaning and administrative tasks. If 21 years or older with a driver’s license and good driving record, you may receive training to assist with transportation to assist with picking up youth from school and transporting to the Mission Waco program.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study.
- Reliable transportation.
- General office skills.
- Good written and oral communication with others.
- Mature and adept communicator.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize well.
- Problem solving competence.
- Mature Christian Faith.
Nice To Haves
- 21 years or older with a driver’s license and good driving record (for transportation duties).
