Quality Bring your attention to detail, organizational skills, and desire to learn as you support our Quality Records team in ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance for aircraft. As a Quality Records Student Worker, you will gain hands‑on exposure to aircraft documentation, airworthiness requirements, FAA compliance processes, and cross‑functional coordination. You’ll work with experienced Quality team members and operations personnel to help ensure all records are complete, accurate, and aligned with Bell Piney Flats repair station requirements. The position will work approximately 20 hours per week on a set schedule. Schedule is dependent on what works best for the business and the student, with the possibility of additional hours (not to exceed 40 hours per week) with supervisor approval.

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in a program related to aviation, quality, business administration, or a related technical field through an accredited institution
  • Interest in quality compliance, aviation records, documentation management, or regulatory work
  • Commitment to working approximately 20 hours per week on a set schedule
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • General computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners
  • Dependability and willingness to learn complex regulatory processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and software related to job duties
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to move throughout office and shop‑floor areas as needed
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch for document retrieval or filing
  • Good vision, including ability to read and review paperwork, focus on small details, and identify discrepancies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in administrative, quality, or aviation support is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support preparation and organization of aircraft records packages in accordance with applicable FAA requirements
  • Help create or update aircraft status reports and documentation under supervision
  • Collaborate with mechanics, inspectors, and office personnel to gather necessary documentation or resolve record discrepancies
  • Assist with preparing return‑to‑service documents and supporting materials under supervision
  • Learn department processes, industry requirements, and best practices in airworthiness documentation
  • Other duties as assigned
