About The Position

The library is seeking a dependable student worker to support day-to-day library operations, including circulation duties and assistance with library services, projects, and events. The position will work during weekends to start, with the possibility of weekday and evening work in the future. Scheduling is discussed during the interview and confirmed before the start of the semester and/or summer. Responsibilities

• Communicate with patrons.
• Register and update patron records.
• Answer phones.
• Shelf read library materials.
• Support interlibrary loan and document delivery services.
• Undertake catalog searches and room counts.
• Check library materials in and out.
• Assist with book displays, signs, library special projects, and events.
