The Seminary Chapel and Sacristy Worker is a work-study employee responsible for the laundering and ironing of altar linens, as well as cleaning the chapel and sacristies. The work can be done any time between Monday and Sunday, within a limit of 5 to 10 hours per week. The role requires maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of various sacristies and chapels, including the Celebrants, Concelebrants, Back Sacristies, Back Storage Sacristy, Sacristy Storage Rooms (Rooms 230 and 228), St. John Vianney Eucharistic Chapel, and St. Peter Reconciliation Chapel. The worker must also monitor the overall cleanliness of the Chapel of Christ the Good Shepherd and report any neglected cleaning to the Vice Rector, and regularly check with the head sacristan for additional tasks. Timekeeping involves recording start and finish times on a Student Employee Timesheet.
